It's easy to lose your psych if you're only climbing in one area. Psych loss even happens to world class rock hounds like Mirko Caballero. After crushing many of classics in Bishop, CA, and finding his motivation waning, the boy wonder heads over to Red Rocks, Nevada for something new.
In this new environment he meets up with his friends on the ABC climbing team, Brooke and Shawn Raboutou as well as their mother, the legendary climber/coach Robyn Erbesfield Raboutou. With other kids around who also crush 5.14 and V-double digit grades, Mirko is frothing for some tough bouldering. Shawn and Brooke send Lethal Design (V12) but Mirko has a heartbreaker when the skin on his fingers splits and blood sends him slip-sliding off. Despite frustration he takes a rest day and returns for some sweet redemption.
